A Painting a Day - Study of Onions

Today I wanted to make a still life so I looked around and found a bag of onions. I love onions, raw or cooked and this is all about painting what I love. Therefore I placed three of them on a dish towel in my studio and painted them on gessoed paper. It is approximately 7 X 5 and I will mount it on board when it is dry.
